Edible Obessions 
At Portland Farmers' Market this morning, one vendor posted a sign saying that they were spraying their toms with a copper fungicide to avoid late blight. When I bought some seconds from him, he said 'Wash your tomatoes, ma'am.' Yessir!
With the way this season has been for many, because of the weather, this is the last thing they need. It was nice to see many with tomatoes out this morning and hopefully we're not as affected as NY seems to be.
